We Are Educators, Administrators, Students, Parents & Community Members Committed to Educational Equity.  We Are Innovators.

We're Tapping Into Our Collective GENIUS* to Change the World.

Our Vision

If you're an administrator, teacher, parent, student or community member in a Greater St. Louis area school district and care deeply about educational equity, join us for a day of connection, creative collaboration and conversation as we share best practices, address issues, anticipate trends, and map the future agenda for area school districts regarding issues of equity.

Our Mission

At the Educational Equity Leadership Conference, our mission is to develop a collaborative space for educational equity leaders, to formulate a conversation with the Greater St. Louis area educators and community members on issues of equity and its influence on students, and to support and fortify educational leadership for equity.

Our Goals

At EELC 2016, we're building a community for equity-minded educators in the Greater St. Louis area. During the event, we'll create multiple area-wide equity leadership groups, build partnerships among local school districts to design and foster equitable school policies and practices and connect Greater St. Louis area school districts with diverse job seeking educators!

* GENIUS = Gathering Everyone Needed to Identify Untapped Solutions

Three Different Days, One Goal

This year, we're dividing up EELC into three days to allow similarly situated districts to discuss the equity issues and challenges unique to them.

Day One focuses on equity issues for districts where students of color are the majority enrolled, while Day Two focuses on districts serving a majority white student population.

On our third day, representatives from day one and day two, will return to help us synthesize key learnings, build an “Idea Gallery” and meet diverse job candidates who could be your district’s next hire.
